Liverpool have submitted a second official bid for Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz, The Athletic’s David Ornstein reports.
The bid amounts to €130m, including a guaranteed fee and potential add-ons.
Wirtz is keen on joining Liverpool, having expressed his preference in conversations with Bayern Munich who were also interested in him.
The 22-year-old registered 16 goals and 15 assists in all competitions this past season for Bayer.
