ITV had to issue an apology after Plymouth Argyle defender Nikola Katic swore live on air following their shock FA Cup win over Liverpool at the weekend.
The Championship’s bottom side stunned the Premier League leaders with a 1–0 victory, secured by Ryan Hardie’s second-half penalty.
Overcome with emotion, Katic said at full-time: “F*****g hell, I f*****g love it. That’s why I came here. I remember when I came the first day with the new coach, energy and everything.
“It’s a beautiful day for everyone and it’s good to get the confidence from this but we have a hell of a job to work on in the future.”

ITV presenter Mark Pougatch was then forced to apologise for the ‘industrial language’ that was used.
The Bosnian defender also credited Plymouth’s defensive structure and coach Miron Muslic for the win, highlighting the team’s work ethic.
